World's End
"Was it real or in our head? The world may never know..."
An eclectic mix of sonic influences, song structures, and subject matter, the World's End EP somehow manages to capture three decades of friendship in under 5 minutes.
*WORLD'S END*
It must've been thirty years nows, when we were walking in December
What we were doing outside, you know I cannot remember
We just kept walking, through a night so black and still
We were upside down while climbing up that hill.
No frame of reference
No way for us to tell
No frame of reference
We were climbing up a hill
My mind's not working as I look up at a plane
Seeing all those lights at night, but we were hardly sane
The wolf came running, charging through the snow
Was it real or in our head? The world may never know.
*JUST STAY*
Was a time not long ago…
We felt so free with no control…
Idealistic…
hedonistic…
Insecurity-fueled apathy.
Let’s go back, but never go away.
Work like dogs to live like kings…
We laugh until the sadness sings...
Pessimistic…
Die-hard cynics….
We've grown tired of living the dream.
You cannot go back, no way
You might just as well stay.
Just stay.
